Another excellent Edublogs.org weblog
I enjoyed this class very much, and think it was very helpful. It has been challenging at times, but I learned SOOOO much, and I am waiting to share my learning with my colleagues and
my students. I am planning to use blogs, voicethread, podcasting, google docs, teachertube, youtube, delicious, wikis and podflakes.
Thank you Shelly for everything.

I have created an account with Ning and with Classroom 2.0. I want to take back what I said about the Reader in thing 7C. This is the definintion for overwhelming. I am not sure how to use these tools if I have eighty something students. Do I invite them all to join by sending 80+invitations? This seems to be too much. It is interesting and rich, but too big on me at this point. Maybe later I will change my mind. Let’s check thing 23 and see if there is something even bigger than this…
I have to admit that I do not check my reader on a daily basis. I find it overwhelming with all the other stuff I do on the computer. I understand that it is only skim reading and that makes it easier, but I need to skim read facebook and three email sources I have, and more- and I want to have a life too. It takes many hours next to the computer- so I have to pick and choose when I do what.
I found those nice feeds, check them out:

This is getting confusing or overwhelming. What is actually the best to use: blog, Wiki or pageflake? or shall I use them all? It seems too much to use it all. Pageflakes was easy to deal with, and very exciting to me. I loves to add flakes to my page and rearange it. The blog and the Wiki are kind of similar in my opinion, versus the all powerful pageflake that gives access to so much more. Am I getting it right, or am I making here a confused salad…. ?
What a fun dicovery! I loved google docs- It rocks! This is genious. I enjoyed playing with creating word documents to share, as well as spreadsheet and a presentation. Teachers and students can share these tools in so many ways. In my class next year- I will definately run a blog with my classwork and homework assignment. There I will post links to shared presnetations, documetns and spreadsheets for the class/parents. For example: document- summary of something important we learned, or a message to parents with an option to reply. Students can create presentations and share them with me and others. Spreadsheets for grades (with no options for viewrs to edit), and so much more. I just love it!!!
First of all, I was not aware before that a teachertube even existed. I am glad to find out. However, I was able to find more of what I need on the regular youtube than on the teacher’s one. This is probably because I am teaching Hebrew and that is not a common subject. I enjoyed exporing both sites and tagged them to my delicious account. One example of what I tagged is this:
I just loved this site. It is so exciting to dicover so many new things in this course. I love books- and this site is a the reader’s heaven. It allows you to share books you like, read about books, look for information on books, and as with all, keeps it social and interactive. I opened a library thing and plugged some of the books I recommend.
I enjoyed learning about delicious. It is an easy tool to find, organize and share my favorite sites.
I can manage them privately or share with others. My delicious site is: www.delicious.com/sleibou
To sum up, really an awesome tool!
I enjoyed reading about what teachers do if they have 5 minutes left at the end of class- how they fill it. here is the url for it: http://www.google.com/reader/view/#stream/feed%2Fhttp%3A%2F%2Fsuccessfulteaching.blogspot.com%2Ffeeds%2Fposts%2Fdefault
or you can copy the address below to go directely to the blog:

I have looked into voicethread as well as Blabberize which are nice tools but were not as attractive to me as
http://www.befunky.com This site really gtot my attention. It was easy to use- free and no registration- you can get started immediately. It is social as you can share your images with whomever you want. You can also create gifts and gift card, share by email and more. I enjoyed playing with it, and shared the site already with my friends.
